3. Retention periods

Bardeau does not store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless we are legally obliged to retain data for a longer period.

In short:

Order and invoice data : up to 7 years after the end of the financial year, due to the tax authorities' statutory retention obligation.
Customer account : As long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account.
Newsletter data : until you unsubscribe.
Email correspondence : as long as necessary to handle your question or complaint, with a reasonable maximum period thereafter.

4. Sharing personal data with third parties

Bardeau does not sell your data to third parties. We only share your data with third parties if necessary for the performance of our services or to comply with a legal obligation.

This concerns, for example:

Payment service providers (such as Shopify's payment provider, PayPal, Klarna) – to process payments
Shipping and delivery services (such as PostNL, DHL) – to deliver your order
Web hosting and platforms (e.g. Shopify) – for the operation of the webshop
Email service providers – for sending order confirmations and newsletters (if applicable)
Administrative or accounting office – for financial administration (if applicable)

We conclude processing agreements with parties that process personal data on our behalf (processors) to ensure an appropriate level of security and confidentiality.

Bardeau uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the website functions properly and to gain insight into how the website is used.
