Warranty

At Bardeau, we stand behind our products. We do everything we can to get your items to you in top condition. However, something can still go wrong during transport, production, or another part of the process. In that case, we're happy to work with you to find a suitable solution.

If you discover a defect that was already present at the time of delivery (i.e. not caused by use), you are entitled to a proper product under Dutch and European consumer law.

Important: Report a defect as soon as possible after you discover it.
Email us at info@bardeau.store of:

  • your name

  • your order number

  • a clear description of the problem

  • clear photos of the item and the defect

The sooner you report it, the easier it will be for us to resolve it for you.


When is something usually covered by warranty?

For example if:

  • you receive an item with an obvious production error;

  • the print or fabric has a clear defect upon delivery;

  • seams are coming loose without the product being (visibly) worn or washed.

In such cases we look for a solution on a situation-by-situation basis, such as:

  • replacement of the product;

  • repair (if useful);

  • (partial) refund.


When is something usually not (fully) covered by the warranty?

We're dealing with clothing that's been worn and washed. Certain situations are normal use and generally not covered by the warranty, especially if there's a significant delay between delivery and notification. Consider:

  • Normal wear and tear from use (such as light pilling, some fading of the fabric or print over time).

  • Light signs of use (such as small creases, light fading, minimal shrinkage within normal margins).

  • Minor aesthetic imperfections that do not affect operation or wearability.

In addition, the following applies:

Washing instructions

Our items come with a care label .
To keep the quality of your T-shirt and print as good as possible, it is important that you follow these instructions.

Examples (general, exact instructions are on the label):

  • Wash inside out

  • Wash at low temperature

  • No aggressive detergents or bleach

  • Preferably do not tumble dry

  • Do not iron directly over the print

Damage that is clearly the result of incorrect washing or drying (e.g. severe shrinkage, severely faded or melted print, severe discolouration due to bleach) is generally not covered by the warranty.


How do you submit a warranty claim?

  1. Send an email to info@bardeau.store

  2. Please mention:

    • your name

    • your order number

    • a clear description of the problem

  3. Add clear photos:

    • of the entire article

    • close-up of the defect

    • possibly from the washing label

We will assess your application as soon as possible and let you know what the next steps are.


Complaints

It can always happen that something doesn't go exactly as you expected. Please let us know – then we can really do something about it.

Do you have a complaint about a product or our service?

  • what you are not satisfied with;

  • your order number

  • what you expect from us (for example: solution, explanation, proposal).

We will do our best to respond within a reasonable time and work together to find a solution.
